Flu Ambassador Requirements:
1. Know Our Mission
Our organization includes families whose loved ones have suffered serious medical complications or died from influenza, and we are dedicated to protecting others from these devastating effects of flu
2. Be Prepared
Not sure how to respond to some of the common flu vaccination misconceptions? You can be prepared for these conversations by visiting our Facts on Flu Vaccines page.
3. Be Active on Social Media
Using primarily Instagram, connect and promote the Families Fighting Flu (FFF) mission. Share FFF content and articles with your network of peers and help bring awareness to the dangers of flu. You’ll also engage with FFF’s social media accounts to help further our reach.
How to Become a Flu Ambassador

Ready to make a difference with your social media platforms? Fill out our Flu Ambassador application form to get started.
STEP 2
Share
Once you are approved to be a FFF Flu Ambassador, you’ll receive access to our collection of social media posts. These posts will include an image with a prompt for captioning. We encourage you to edit the captions to fit your voice and share our provided posts about once a week.
STEP 3
Save Lives
Together we can help prevent others from experiencing the grave and devastating effects of flu. We are excited to work with you to make a difference!
Why Be a Flu Ambassador?
Flu Ambassadors play an important role in sharing our mission with others, but there are also personal and professional benefits to joining the program.
ENHANCE YOUR RÉSUMÉ
A role as a FFF Flu Ambassador looks great on college and job applications. Time spent as a Flu Ambassador can be signed and credited towards service or volunteer hours.
NETWORKING
Become part of a nationwide network of high school and college students all working together towards one mission. You’ll build friendships and establish connections with others involved in the program.
DEVELOP SKILLS
Flu Ambassadors develop valuable leadership and advocacy skills while gaining real-life experience in promoting and advocating for an important cause.
